How Our Process Works

At Live Collective we know how important it is to find the right people for each house. We want you to feel at home and enjoy spending time with your house mates. We endeavour always to find the right matches for each house by following a 5-step process that helps us to find the most suitable people to live with you.

How do we find the right fit?

THE  FIVE – STEP COLLECTIVE FIT PROCESS

At this stage you can find out more information about the room, the home and more importantly the house mates who live in it. It is also an opportunity for us to find out some basic information about you, who you are, what you do for work, your regular work pattern and when you are looking to move. We usually do this by asking you to fill in a form which helps us to understand if this home is right for you. We will also discuss other rooms/homes we think might be suitable for you.

It’s important to meet with you in person to not only view the home but to talk to you further about your preferences/likes/dislikes and get to know you better. We are always thinking of who in our homes you would fit in well with. We will meet you at the property and show you around the house detailing everything we offer in terms of space, storage, services, and house mate information. We can also arrange for you to meet some of the house mates should you wish too.

If you can’t make it to the area to see the house in person, then fear not, we have virtual house tours on each property page and room videos for you to watch please go to Our Rooms – Live Collective. If you like what you see on the videos, we can set up a Room Zoom discussion to talk about the house in more detail

If you decide to go ahead and take the room, we will ask you for a holding deposit (see fees section below), this holding deposit will be non- refundable if you subsequently change your mind (this covers the loss incurred by us as an agent/landlord). Once we receive the holding deposit, we will send you the application form and start the tenancy approval process, to do this we will require personal, financial & right to rent information from you.  This information is detailed in the application form (see above).

Before you check in you will need pass our financial checks, sign the contracts sent to you and pay your first months’ rent & remaining tenancy deposit. Once all of this is done, we will arrange a check in date and time with you to move you in, show you how everything works and handover the keys.
